报告人简介:
Prof. Dr. Nicolas Brüggemann is currently the group leader of research unit “Plant-Soil-Atmosphere Exchange Processes” in Forschungszentrum Jülich, IBG-3, and a professor for terrestrial biogeochemistry in University of Bonn.
He received his Diploma in Chemistry from University of Hannover in 1997, and Doctoral degree in Forest and Environmental Sciences from University of Freiburg in 2001.
Since 2004, he became the Group leader of Center of Stable Isotopes in Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, IMK-IFU, Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Since September 2010, he got a professorship in University of Bonn and Group Leader position in Forschungszentrum Jülich, IBG-3.
His current research topics include: (1) the influence of biotic and abiotic processes on biosphere-atmosphere exchange of trace gases; (2) Stable Isotopes in ecosystem research; (3) Application of laser-based isotope analyzers; (4) Plant-soil interactions; (5) Influence of Global Change on ecosystems.
Prof. Dr. Nicolas Brüggemann is currently leading several research projects in Europe, Asia and Africa. He published over 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals, e.g., Nature, Global Change Biology, New Phytologist, Plant Cell and Environment, Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta. His publications have been cited over 1400 times and his current H-index is 22. In 2013, he was awarded with “Erwin Schr?dinger Award ofthe Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft“.
